Χθες, Παρασκευή, ο Μακρόν δηλώνοντας πρόθυμος για "διάλογο" με το Ιράν τόνισε παράλληλα: "Θα ήθελα το Ιράν να έχει μια λιγότερο επιθετική περιφερειακή στρατηγική και να μπορέσουμε να διευκρινίσουμε τη βαλλιστική του πολιτική που φαίνεται ανεξέλεγκτη".
"Στα θέματα της άμυνας και του βαλλιστικού προγράμματος, δεν ζητάμε την άδεια από κανέναν. Σε τι αυτό αφορά τον Μακρόν; Ποιός είναι για να παρεμβαίνει σε αυτά τα θέματα;", δήλωσε ο Αλί Ακμπάρ Βελαγιατί, διπλωματικός σύμβουλος του ανώτατου ηγέτη Αλί Χαμενεΐ, μιλώντας στην κρατική τηλεόραση.
"Δεν ωφελεί τον πρόεδρο Μακρόν και τη Γαλλία να παρεμβαίνουν στο πυραυλικό θέμα και στις στρατηγικές υποθέσεις της Ισλαμικής Δημοκρατίας, για τα οποία είμαστε ιδιαίτερα ευαίσθητοι", πρόσθεσε.
"Αν θέλει οι σχέσεις μεταξύ του Ιράν και της Γαλλίας να αναπτυχθούν, πρέπει να προσπαθήσει να μην παρεμβαίνει σε τέτοιες υποθέσεις, γιατί αυτό αντιβαίνει στα εθνικά συμφέροντα. Είναι προφανές ότι η απάντησή μας είναι αρνητική" στα αιτήματα της Γαλλίας για διαπραγματεύσεις για το βαλλιστικό πρόγραμμα, τόνισε.
Ήδη χθες, το Ιράν άσκησε κριτική στη Γαλλία μετά τις δηλώσεις του υπουργού της των Εξωτερικών Ζαν-Ιβ Λε Ντριάν που κατηγορούσε από το Ριάντ την Τεχεράνη για "ηγεμονικές τάσεις" στη Μέση Ανατολή. Ο εκπρόσωπος της ιρανικής διπλωματίας τόνισε ότι η "μεροληπτική στάση" της Γαλλίας επιδεινώνει τις περιφερειακές κρίσεις.

- Iranian Supreme Leader's top adviser for international affairs Ali Akbar Velayati underlined that French President Emmanuel Macron's interference in Iran's domestic affairs does not serve that country's national interests....
"It is not in the interest of France and (French President) Mr. Macron to interfere in issues of sensitivity to Iran, like missiles and strategic affairs of Iran,” Velayati said in an interview with Iran's state-run television on Friday.
"As an Iranian who is familiar with French issues and the foreign policies of this country I advise the French president to take the path of General de Gaulle the Former President of France in his foreign policy and act relatively independent,” Leader's top advisor advised Macron.
Velayati reiterated that Iran will never ask for permission from others concerning its defensive issues or what range of kilometers should the country's missiles should be.
“It’s Mr. Macron’s no business and he has no right to interfere in this issue,” underlined Mr. Velayati, “If he wants to have growing relations between Iran and France, he should abstain from meddling in these issues because it is against the interests of France.”
“Mr. Macron! Take heed to my advice; there is not even a 1% chance to get us negotiate over our internal affairs,” he referred to Macron’s anti-Iran speech in Sweden.
In relevant remarks last Monday, Iran once again rejected any kind of talks with foreign parties over its missile program and defense power.
"We have announced and repeated many times that we will not hold talks with any country or person on Iran's missile and defense issues," Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi told reporters in Tehran.
Stressing that Iran is entitled to strengthen its defense program given the regional conditions, he said instead of Iran, other countries which sell expensive and advanced weapons to the regional states that can foment insecurity and tensions should account for their deeds.
"They will see the destructive impacts of their wrong policies," Qassemi said.
